FAQ

When do I take it?
Two capsules in the morning with a meal. Breakfast is the easiest one to remember. A bottle of 60 lasts 30 days.
What’s inside?
12 vitamins, 8 minerals and three botanical blends, each printed on the label with its dose or blend total. The label lists no allergens, and the capsule is plant-based.
Can I take it with Sunlight and Omega Foundation?
Yes, that’s the Daily Trio, and it ships free. Daily Foundation has 10 mcg of vitamin D; Sunlight adds 50 mcg (2,000 IU). Omega adds EPA and DHA, which Daily Foundation doesn’t have. If you take other vitamin D, ask your doctor about your total.
Do I need a multivitamin if I eat well?
Maybe not. A multivitamin fills gaps; it doesn’t replace food. If your meals are varied and you’re unsure, ask your doctor.
What if it’s not for me?
Email us within 30 days of delivery, opened bottle included, and we refund the product price. No need to send it back.

Questions & answers

  • Does Daily Foundation have iron?

    Asked by Lauren D. ·

    Answered by The Nutriens team

No. There's no iron on the Daily Foundation label. If you've been told you need iron, ask your doctor which supplement fits.

  • Can I take it on an empty stomach?

    Asked by Omar F. ·

    Answered by The Nutriens team

We'd take it with food. The label says two capsules in the morning with a meal, and most people who feel queasy took it without one. Breakfast, or your first meal of the day, is perfect.

  • Is this okay to take while pregnant or trying to conceive?

    Asked by Hannah V. ·

    Answered by The Nutriens team

Daily Foundation isn't a prenatal. The label asks anyone pregnant or nursing to talk to a physician before use, so please check with your doctor or midwife first.

  • What form of folate and B12 is in it?

    Asked by Samir W. ·

    Answered by The Nutriens team

Folate is 680 mcg DFE from 400 mcg of folic acid, and B12 is 27 mcg as cyanocobalamin. Every amount is on the Supplement Facts panel on this page.

  • Can I take it with Sunlight Foundation?

    Asked by Monique B. ·

    Answered by The Nutriens team

Yes, they're two parts of our Daily trio. Daily Foundation has 10 mcg (400 IU) of vitamin D and Sunlight Foundation adds 50 mcg (2,000 IU), so 60 mcg (2,400 IU) a day together. If you get vitamin D from anything else or take medication, check the total with your doctor.

  • Why is my pee so yellow since I started?

    Asked by Tyler G. ·

    Answered by The Nutriens team

That's riboflavin (vitamin B2), 7.5 mg per serving. Your body passes what it doesn't use, and riboflavin is bright yellow. It's a normal, harmless color change.

Finally a multi I don't have to talk myself into

I've bounced between gummies and those six-pills-a-day packs for years and always quit by week three. Two capsules with breakfast is something I can actually keep doing. I keep the bottle right next to the coffee maker so I see it every morning. About five weeks in, my afternoons feel steadier and I'm not reaching for a second coffee at 2pm like I used to. I also like that every vitamin and mineral has a real amount on the label, no guessing. Already set up the subscription.

    Reply from the Nutriens team

Next to the coffee maker is the best spot we've heard of. Thanks, Priya.

Good multi, the bottle smells like vitamins

Does what I want it to. I've taken it with breakfast every day for about two months. Only knock is the smell when you open the bottle, that strong B-vitamin smell. Doesn't bother me once they're swallowed. Capsules are a normal size, not horse pills.

    Works with shift work

I work 12-hour shifts, so 'morning' means whenever my first real meal is. As long as I take both capsules with food I'm totally fine. I took them on an empty stomach once before a shift and felt a little queasy, so lesson learned. Been on it since spring and it's one less thing to think about.

Two capsules instead of a handful

My old multi was four big tablets a day and I hated it. These are two capsules and they go down easy with water. Bonus, my nails seem less brittle. Could be a coincidence but I'll take it.

Fine, can't say I feel different

Took the whole bottle with breakfast like it says. No issues at all, no upset stomach. I just can't honestly say I feel any different. Maybe that's how a multi is supposed to be. Giving it one more month before I decide.

    Reply from the Nutriens team

Thanks for the honest take, Glen. A multi does most of its work quietly, filling the gaps on days your meals don't. Some people notice a difference in their days and some don't, and that's exactly what our 30-day guarantee is for. If month two doesn't win you over, message us through our contact page and we'll make it right. The Nutriens team

    Solid, a little pricey

Feels like the expensive brands and the label is straightforward. $32.90 is a bit much for one month, so I switched to Subscribe & Save for the 10% off. I skip breakfast so I take mine with lunch, works fine.

My husband and I both take it

We keep one bottle on the kitchen table and take it with breakfast together. He has forgotten every vitamin he's ever bought, and now it's just part of breakfast. We go through two bottles a month so the subscription made sense for us.

    Heads up: bright yellow pee

For anyone new to a multi, your pee will turn bright yellow. I looked it up and it's the B2. Totally normal and it fades. Otherwise great, no stomach issues as long as I take it with food.

    Reply from the Nutriens team

Good heads-up, Tom. That's riboflavin (vitamin B2) doing its harmless thing.

    Made me queasy

I take my vitamins first thing before I eat anything, and this one made me nauseous for about an hour every morning for a week. I know the bottle says with a meal but that doesn't fit my mornings. Not for me.

    Reply from the Nutriens team

Thanks for telling us, Natalie, and sorry about that week. Daily Foundation is made to be taken with a meal, and on an empty stomach the minerals and B vitamins can sit badly. If breakfast doesn't fit your mornings, both capsules with your first meal of the day is the way to go. And if it's still not for you, our 30-day money-back guarantee covers it: message us through our contact page with your order number and we'll refund you. The Nutriens team

Works well for me with food and there's no aftertaste. I'd love a two-month bottle so I'm not reordering every 30 days. Taking a star off for that only.

    My backup for busy weeks

Started this in December when work got crazy. I eat pretty well most days but definitely not every day, so this is my backup. Two with breakfast, no issues. Mornings feel more put together, if that makes sense.
